1. The platform

BestGadget.co.ke ("BestGadget") is an online marketplace that connects independent sellers ("Vendors") with buyers. BestGadget is not the seller of items listed by Vendors.

2. Payments & escrow

Buyers pay through M-Pesa to BestGadget. Funds are held until the buyer confirms delivery, the auto-release period (3 days after shipping) passes without a dispute, or a dispute is resolved. BestGadget deducts its commission before crediting the Vendor's wallet.

3. Vendor obligations

Vendors must provide accurate identity and business information, list only genuine goods they are legally entitled to sell, describe condition and warranty honestly, and ship paid orders promptly. Counterfeit, stolen or prohibited items will lead to immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts where permitted by law.

4. Disputes & refunds

Buyers may open a dispute before funds are released. BestGadget will review evidence from both parties and may refund the buyer or release funds to the Vendor. BestGadget's decision on escrowed funds is final.

5. Fees

Vendors pay a commission on completed sales according to their plan, plus any subscription or featured listing fees. Fees are shown in the Vendor dashboard and may change with 14 days' notice.

6. Off-platform payments

Payments made outside BestGadget are not covered by buyer protection. Vendors who solicit off-platform payment may be suspended.
